I feel a strong commitment to painting.
Painting has become my personal journey. I feel fortunate having such a journey of learning, reflection, perseverance, self-discovery and happiness!
My journey started in 2015 in Brazil when my then Brazilian landlady offered me a handful of acrylic paints to try out. Since then I have been forever hooked. I learned through reading, online tutorials, workshops - but most importantly: I kept on painting and painting!
My family connection to Germany provided me with opportunities for developing my crafts. In particular, I am grateful for inspiration and learning experience in the international summer academies of Bild-Werk Frauenau in Bavaria.
I have been living in Tanzania since 2022 with my family. The new environment with different cultures opened up a completely different dimension of impressions and inspiration. It has become the most productive period so far.
When painting, I am not the same person that I was yesterday; my painting journey is a continuation of where I am today. I am still keen on exploring the different mediums and different ways to express myself. While I am finding my own path, I truly believe that the journey itself is the key, that is why I am enjoying it so much!
